  • Question: Where is my refund?
    • Answer: you can go to IRS.gov web site or download IRS2go App on your smart and have with you, your refund amount, social security number and filing status (single, marriage, jointly, head household 

  • Question: When I receive my state refund?
    • Answer: you can go to your *state web page and click on where my refund is. Have with you your refund amount social security number and status. (Single, marriage, jointly, head household 

 

  • Question: How long will it take to receive my federal refund
    • Answer: the IRS give you 21 days before you can start inquiring about your refund. After 21 days if you have not received a letter from IRs you call, call our office and or call IRS number 1-800-829-1040. Expect a long wait doing tax season or no answer calls. Our office # 225-306-4073

 

  • Question: When will my refund be available after deposit
    • Answer: Keep in mind that it may take a few days for your financial institution to make your deposit available to you or it may take several days for the check to arrive in the mail. Keep this in mind when planning to use your tax refund. The IRS states to allow for five additional days for the funds to become available to you. In almost all cases, a direct deposit will get you your tax refund more quickly than in five days, and some cases, it will be available immediately.    
    • Question: When can you expect your tax refund?
    • According to the IRS website, taxpayers should expect to receive their 2022 tax refund within 21 days of submitting their return so long as they file electronically, choose to receive their refund through direct deposit and don't encounter any issues like inaccuracies or incomplete information.

    • However, if you're claiming an Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will accept your return but can't issue your refund before Feb. 18. For a more personalized estimation of your refund status, you can check the Where's My Refund? tool on the IRS's website. You'll need to input your social security number, filing status and the exact refund amount on your return.
